At the last open meeting on April 26, the Board reported that exterior painting is continuing on schedule, and they’ve received a quote regarding asphalt paving and crack filling. The treasurer’s report noted that the community is at the midpoint of the year and therefore the Finance Committee has been evaluating how the community stands in relation to the budget.
Trash removal is overbudget because the vendor significantly increased its fee. On the other hand, pool operations and the wastewater treatment plant is underbudget. The goal is a zero balance at the end of the year.
The level of volunteerism in the community is high, and that helps with expenses. Homeowners are doing some of the new planting around the pool. It looks great! [Read more…]
