Beautiful sunshine and temps in the 50’s, after a long pandemic winter, are bringing out the duffers. Brookside is especially appealing, both because of the course and the location, easily accessible from both Cape and off-Cape. The season starts, hurray!

There have been some changes at Brookside since my last post. The management company has changed to Barkan Management. There is an onsite management office on Springbrook Court.
The new board has five members: Tom McLaughlin, Joe Dannis, Gordon Snell, Ed Iwaniki, and Mike O’Malley.
The Board is exploring the possibility of installing security gates. A few years ago, Waze started to suggest Brookside as an alternate route during heavy summer traffic periods. An unwelcome surprise, for sure!
This gets my vote for the most imaginative and charming seasonal decoration. It’s at The Daily Brew in Cataumet, and word has it that Jackie’s fabulous daughters are the makers. Great job, Daily Brewettes! You provide us not only with yummy and fast breakfast and lunch sustenance, but also always a warm welcome!
