During the memorable winter of 2015, I developed a few key ways to cope with the cold and snow that seemed endless, and one was to make some kind of soup every day. This was a quickie I put together today with sautéed chicken tenderloins, leftover risotto, kale and turkey broth. Tomorrow I’m doing spicy southwestern chicken and barley. Will share!

Find the skates, sticks and pucks in the back of the closet, clear off the snow from the nearest cranberry bog, and make the most of the arctic temps!

The Regency Brass trio will be playing again Saturday, 4:30-6:00pm. Seeing them and hearing their music did more to get me in the spirit than any other single thing. Go, and bring your friends. These guys deserve an appreciative audience!

An increase of 2.7% for all homeowners has been approved for 2018, well within common practice at condo associations.
Also, there will be a new trustee election to fill positions of three who have resigned.
The Best Lobster Roll Ever
Summer’s not summer without lobster rolls, right? Despite the calendar saying fall, I’d like to share my recipe for a yummy lobster roll. This is a lighter take on the classic, I think you’ll like it:
4 1 1/4- 1 1/2-lb live lobsters
3 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
1/3 cup extra-virgin olive oil
Salt
1/3 cup thinly sliced scallions
1/4 cup finely chopped peeled celery
1/4 cup celery leaves
1/4 cup chopped flat-leaf parsley
4 Tbsp (1/2 stick) unsalted butter
3 garlic cloves, smashed
6 hot dog buns, perferably top-split
