Joined about 180 others yesterday for the Main Street Mile in Falmouth, from The Quarterdeck, down Shore St. to the Beach House at Surf Drive. Such a family-friendly race! I definitely saw three year olds, and possibly some twos. For me it was a chance to run a race again, which I haven’t done since the Falmouth Road Race four years ago. Thanks to the Falmouth Track Club for organizing such a fun event!

I attended a great potluck party on Saturday at the home of Paula & Jack O’Neil. The food was wonderful, and this photo that was generously shared by its maker, Jeannine Lavoie, our photographer, organizer, and songbird extraordinaire! I took this outside the Cape Cod Art Association in Barnstable on Saturday.
This photo of mine will be the “Photo of the Year” for the Upper Cape Camera Club. The judge was Bob Singer, a career photographer and photography competition judge, also Master Juried Photographer with the Cape Cod Art Association. I’m thrilled that of the 174 exhibition winners that were in the running, this one stayed with him.
I wouldn’t have made the same choice. There were several that I thought were exceptionally interesting, beautiful and skilled. Go to the UCCC website to see them. Meanwhile, I hope you enjoy this.
