Cape Cod Art Association Show, “Beaches”
The Cape Cod Art Association recently sponsored a juried online photo competition, with “beaches” as the theme. Steven Heaslip was the judge, and 30 images were selected, one of them mine.
The other images are quite gorgeous and well worth looking at. Mine is a simple cell phone photo I took one evening when I was at a clambake at Old Silver Beach. Amid the other images, I think mine is like a palate cleanser, simple and refreshing.

This wonderful image was taken by Jeannine Lavoie, one of my Upper Cape Camera Club buddies and a neighbor at Brookside.
(When she wants to get the attention of 40 or so of us sipping and nibbling at our monthly potlucks, she has an attention-grabbing operatic aria she sings out. Never fails!)
